Once your job has been created, you can follow up on the contractor company and its workers.
1. Open your job
Go to Jobs in the left-hand menu.
Find and open the job you want to review.
On the job details page, you'll see the overall job status, contractor information, and assigned workers.
2. Understand the job status
At the top of the job details page, you'll see a status indicating whether the job is ready or if something still needs attention.
🟢 Ready - Everything is in order
When a job has a green Ready status, the applicable job requirements have been met.
You may also see a green message stating:
✅ All workers are ready for entry
This means the workers currently assigned to the job meet the required readiness conditions.
Under Subcontracting, you can see:
Contractor company: The company responsible for the assigned work.
Job type: The type of work being performed.
Assigned workers: The people assigned to the job.
Worker status: Each worker's individual readiness status.
A green Ready label next to a worker indicates that the worker meets the applicable requirements for the job.
🔴 Not valid - Action is required
If a job has a red Not valid status, one or more requirements haven't been met.
A red notification at the top of the page explains what is preventing the job from being ready.
For example, you may see:
Job status: Not valid
Requirements are not met: One or more required conditions are still outstanding.
Company is pending: A contractor company's onboarding or approval is not yet complete.
No people assigned: No workers have been assigned to the relevant job.
These messages help you understand what still needs to be resolved.
Under Subcontracting, you can also identify which company or part of the job requires attention.
3. What should you do if a job is not valid?
If a job has a Not valid status, check the red notification at the top of the job details page to understand what's missing.
Common reasons include:
Requirements are not met: One or more required tasks or documents are still outstanding.
Company is pending: The contractor company's onboarding or approval isn't complete.
No people assigned: No workers have been assigned to the job.
In most cases, you'll need to follow up with the Contractor Administrator, who is responsible for managing the company's onboarding and assigning workers.
📞 Find and contact the Contractor Administrator
You can easily find the right contact person without leaving the job.
Step 1 - Select the contractor company
Step 2 - View the contact details
A side panel will open on the right-hand side of your screen, displaying the company information and contact details of the Contractor Administrator.
Step 3 - Follow up on outstanding requirements
Contact the administrator to ask them to complete any missing requirements, assign workers, or provide an update on their onboarding progress.
💡 Good to know: As an Employee, you can monitor contractor and worker readiness, but the Contractor Administrator is responsible for managing their employees and completing the required onboarding steps.
Once the outstanding requirements have been resolved, you can return to the job to check whether the status has updated.
4. Check the Subcontracting section
The Subcontracting section provides an overview of the contractor companies and workers associated with the job.
Here, you can:
See which contractor companies are involved.
Review any subcontracting levels.
Check whether workers have been assigned.
See the readiness status of individual workers.
Identify where follow-up may be required.
If a subcontractor has no assigned workers, this will be indicated under the relevant job.
✅ Before work begins
Make sure that:
The contractor company has completed its required onboarding.
The job meets the applicable requirements.
Workers have been assigned to the correct job.
Assigned workers have completed the tasks that can be done before arrival.
Some requirements may need to be completed on-site, depending on your organisation's setup.
Once the outstanding requirements have been resolved, the readiness statuses can update accordingly.
🎉 You're ready to go! A green job status and ready worker statuses give you a clear indication that the applicable requirements have been met before work begins.
