Can't find the contractor company you want to assign to your job? No problem!
You can create a new contractor company directly from the job form without leaving the job creation process.
1. Search for the contractor company
When creating a job, go to the Company field.
Search by company name or VAT number to check whether the company already exists.
If the company appears in the search results, simply select it.
2. Create a new company
If the company isn't listed, click Create new company.
A new window will appear where you can enter the company's details.
3. Enter the company information
Complete the required fields:
VAT number: Enter the company's VAT number.
Company name: Enter the official company name.
Contractor Administrator's email address: Enter the email address of the person who will manage the contractor company in 9ID.
Make sure the email address is correct, as this person will receive an invitation to access the platform.
4. Save the company
Click Create company.
The company will be created, and you can continue completing your job details.
✉️ What happens next?
The Contractor Administrator will automatically receive an invitation to 9ID.
Once invited, they can:
Access and manage their company profile.
Complete the required company onboarding tasks.
Add and manage contractor employees.
Add subcontractors where applicable.
Assign workers to jobs.
Follow up on their workers' onboarding and compliance requirements.
💡 Good to know: You don't need to add or onboard the contractor's employees yourself. This is the responsibility of the Contractor Administrator.
✅ Next step: Once the job is created, you can monitor the contractor's onboarding progress from the job details page.
